The illegality rhetoric

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

that was a very balanced and decent write up of the situation but knowing people like you exist, in my mind it is when not if the cyprus solution will come.
Next time i am in cyprus i would really like to meet and have a coffee(on me of course) and hope you are around and you will come

Best Regards

Brother

Piratis wrote:The way to describe this land is easy: "GC land under Turkish occupation", or you disagree?

former is shorter and actually conatins less poltical conotatios and judgments as well.

Piratis wrote:Maybe you believe it is your land? Or it is our land and we voluntarily choose not to control it?

Why? becuase I used the word 'former' as a convient lable for such land?

Piratis wrote:Nothing was stolen from you, you choose to leave by yourselves. RoC is here, come and take what you legally own.

If you say so it must be true.

Piratis wrote:Can you say the same for our properties and human rights?

I could say your properties were not stolen from you but you chose to leave them, and that others did not chose to leave there properties and thus remined - but I would not dream of being so 'biased' or unconcerned for GC feelings and points of view.

Piratis wrote:It is like if a rapist comes and fucks your sister every day and then he comes and wants to be your friend, but without stopping to rape your sister, only to rape her less!! This is what the TCs want.

Actualy it's more like your uncle raped my sister repeatedly and without shame (whilst telling the world my sister was begging for it) and then eventualy my bigger stonger uncle comes and puts up a guard around your uncles house and stops him from leaving the house (infringes his human rights) to bring an end to the rape of my sister and you claim this illeaglity must end and has nothing to do with the earlier repeated rape of my sister which you still claim was not rape but was actualy at her request so your uncle can go back to raping my sister with impunity. All on the basis of your uncles human right to free movement and to be able to rape my sister if he wants.

Appologies for such a post. I would not normally dream of using such an analogy. I am however capable of such 'emotive rehtoric' in _reponse_ to such and I do recognise that I should not 'reply in kind' even if I can not resist the temptation on this occasion. Piratis post is offensive and crass as is my reply. I appologies for my reply.

Whats wrong kifeas is he not toeing the official line, are you going to call him a traitor for having observed a different view, am i a traitor to tc because not all my views tie up with the official line?

You see people like us can open their eyes and look objectively and see the right points on both sides aswell as the wrong points but people like you have one line and that is the official propoganda line.

"former" is simply incorrect and the only thing that shows is your desire to become the new owners of our properties. If you want to be less political why not use "GC properties" without any adjectives?

Why? becuase I used the word 'former' as a convient lable for such land?

oh come on. It is very clear what you mean by "former" who are you trying to bullshit here?

I could say your properties were not stolen from you but you chose to leave them, and that others did not chose to leave there properties and thus remined - but I would not dream of being so 'biased' or unconcerned for GC feelings and points of view.

You avoided answering the question.
Can you say that what we legally own is there and we can take it back whenever we want like you can do? Or you are going to shoot us and beat us to death again if we try to take what legally belongs to us?

Oh really? Dude, you were torturing and oppressing the GCs for almost 400 years and for the last 30 decades you performed ethnic cleansing over 1/3rd of the island. IF what we did to you in one decade with some 100s victims is rape, then what is the 400 years of oppression, the 30 years of occupation and ethnic cleansing and the 10s of thousands of GCs that that you killed??

You criminals cry for one decade, forgetting what you did in the rest of your history (before and after) to us!!!!

Prior to that, growing up in Limassol and reading the media all the time, it truly painted a picture of the TC's being unappreciative and not wanting a a solution, and painting the GC's as compassionate, doing their best to get things going and get a solution that is fair and balanced....

After the Annan plan, my view is completely reversed.... and especially after reading the GC view on this forum, it seems that it is indeed the TC's who have been trying to reach out to the GCs and the GCs telling them to go shove it, not the other way around...

And Piratis, I don't know where you get your warped concept of "civilized" from. You sound like Hitler about to perform genocide on Turkey, you racist turd. And you're talking about civilized?

last time I checked... Democracy was based on the ability of people to speak their mind. How then, were GCs in favour of the NAI vote supposed to speak their mind, when simply saying that was their position or sticking a sticker on their car might end up with them being beaten up with stick and their cars stolen. Especially the school-kids. Damn! Do you call this a civilized, fair vote? Because I see it as a completely uncivilized, pathetic excuse for a vote.... the Iraqi elections were more civilized than this. There are a lot of examples of civilization gone wrong on the Greek side as well... just because you are officially part of the "EU" doesn't mean you are civilized. You have forgotten Cyprus heritage is of very mixed cultures, not just Greek..... open your eyes.

As long as ignorance like this plagues the minds.... there is no light in sight.

I'm sorry to the TC's to have to listen to some of this racism. Not everyone here is like that and maybe one day a solution will be found. Not with this generation, and not until parents stop spouting hatred to their kids about TC's ..... sad to say

Are you seriosly GC :?: :?: :!: :!:
