Nea Salamina plays in the 2nd Division. They play against Halkanoras on Sunday 1/2/09 at 15:00. Their stadium is in Larnaca and its called the Rafael Group Ammochostos

You'll probably be one of 7 people in the stands

thanks for the reply, it doe's not sound too good, maybe you could recommend a match for me to go to? preferably where there is a better atmosphere. i will be staying in protaras between 06-04-09 to 18-04-09. i have seen some video's of ammochostas on you tube, is this the former famagusta football club?. what do you think?.

Biggest team around those parts is Anorthosis. Thay play at Antonis Papadopoulos in Larnaca.

He said around those parts Bananiot. If he were to go to Nicosia then the biggest team to watch would be APOEL. More titles than any other team in Cyprus and currently first in the league.

I think the best choice for u is ENP (Paralimni). It's the local team of the area u will be staying. Their stadium is 5 minutes from Protaras beach. They play in the 1st division. By that time (April) teams will be playing in the play-off stage of the championship.

That's Anorthosis Famagusta, last year Cy Champs. They played in this year's CL group stage. They were eliminated as they finished last. Currently they are 3rd in the Cy league. Their home ground is in the city of Larnaca.
