Hi BillC; I have not attempted your '127', but I am sure it is feasible!

My son did this last February (but other way around). We were down at the sea in the morning, then in the Troodos with snow in the afternoon. Had a snowball fight whilst wearing shorts ....

Twas the winter of 77-78 and it was an exceptional winter we actually went ski-ing on May day
Know I know this sounds a bit far fetched but I'm sure a little research will prove me correct.
If I remember correctly the ski run (This was sun valley 1) actually closed for a week or so prior to this and then re-opened just for the one day -It was bloody slushy mind.
I was there in my black salopettes and pristine white tea shirt gliding along on my Atomic 180s (god i was cool in those days)
I'm probably the only one old enough on forum to remember this
