I left the Island last week from Larnaca and there's a billboard saying Stop huma trafficing in sex etc etc etc what a laugh ITS RIFE in Cyprus
Even a blind man can see it.Must be one of the most Corrupt Administrations in the EU.

So you are broke , no need to be ashamed of that , most Brits are nowadays .
There is unfortunately a lot of truth in what you say , double standards do exist I dont know about double menus though or double justice.
My English wife , who looks very English and does not speak Greek has been visiting Cyprus for more than 40 years , sometimes staying on her own with my family. Never once did she become the victim of anti English behaviour , presented with a rip off menu in a restaurant or faced any situations where being English was to her disadvantage.
Taxis do overcharge the foreigners , that I found out my self in Paphos recently and I was disgusted .
Like most countries Cyprus does have its problems but compared to the biggest con nation on earth , Brittain , Cyprus is squeaky clean.
Here is an example . My brother was in Cyprus in September last year when XL airlines collapsed. He had flown with them and , just as many did , was repatriated from Larnaca airport by presenting his return ticket with XL.
He has just received a letter by , I forget the exact name of the organization , I will post it when I get to the office , demanding £250.00 for the return journey. Bloody crooks !!
ps. Mate after 37 years you should be a bloody Cypriot !!
