I replied with information on the items requested back comes the reply :

I have viewed through your website and i will like to purchase 25 pieces of the (Stainless Steel Corner Unit 800 w x 600mm d) get back to me with the total cost for it so that we can proceed with the inquiry. "

As surprised as I was at his peculiar request totaly unrelated to his original request I replied offering the 25 units at an ex-works price of £3500 plus vat .

The scum is as follows , I think .
The "client" who I believe to be the same as per the Shipping details , will furnish us with details of a stolen credit card , the transaction will probably go through our system and authorization given. The client will naturally expect us to forward to his "shippers" the freight charges . A month later the credit card genuine holder denies the transaction , the credit card processing bank then takes the funds out of our account , in the meantime the crook has taken £2309 !!!

I should know by tomorrow more and will keep you informed .
In the meantime , we shall of course process his credit card , when he furnishes us with the information required , and go along for the ride !!!

It seems that all over the world 8billion dollars worth of scamming takes place every year.....lots of money. People like that don't give a shit who gets scammed.

On receipt of his credit card details , I think he will give us 2 cards since the total amount comes to £7034.00 ,
we shall inform him that due to an internal error we could only obtain authorisation for £6834.00 leaving a shortage of £200.00 . We will advise him / her that in order to forward payment to his shippers he will have to forward to us the shortage via Western Union only ., company policy and all that jazz !!!
Let him stew in his own cesspit !!

We have come across this at least 35 times in the last year. If I had sent out goods I would be out of pocket by at least £40.000.
Problem is these guys get cleverer by the day and there is little comeback if they are using a stolen credit card that has not been reported stolen.I am suprised Africa is a hotspot for you, we have always been targeted from Singapore with stolen American credit cards.
