Please dont get upset.
Its just a thought.

A Greek Cypriot is a Cypriot with Christian Faith.
A Turkish Cypriot is a Cypriot with a Muslim Faith
Can we remove The words Greek and Turkish
and call ourselves Cypriots
with the relevant faiths
I.E I am a Cypriot.
Your thoughts please without anger.

Regards
Michael

I totally agree, if only everyone could be so open minded, then we would all be living in peace

Speak for yourself, Athenian. Not for me or any other Cypriot.

... i have always stressed the fact that we are Grecophone, or Turcophone. As this island's dwellers, our identity is with its Patrimony first, which dates to a time earlier than our National interests; otherwise we are not Cypriots if we are not close to our land.

... i have also stressed the usefulness of enclaves into our vocabulary as a geographic advantage to sustain the diversity of our respective societies if by BiZonal we mean many parts divided in (three or several) two. National Assemblies would allow for the sustanence of these social majorities, while under a State each demonstrating respect for the minorites amongst them, unified for the equal betterment of all.

...did you know that at our advent as a People in this Modern world, we represented the Great Cooperators, and that we were (are) one of the most socialised examples of Humanity in the world. Our success (was) is based on a foundation of Principals which included for so long: Grace and Respect. What is left to us as a Solution is to change the world's thinking by the demonstration of our inclusiveness and this belief, Bicommunally, as non-violent and for a way of life where we can be free from the fear which we have been a proxy to for so long.

We r GCs, Greeks or Hellenes as long as we support the national cause, national values and national interests of GCs, Greeks or Hellenes; otherwise we can be labeled as traitor, Turk, foreigner and such.
