Hello filenada, kala ime.
How are you? Yes I was at the beach all day yesterday- glad to see the weather is finally sorting itself out.
I liked what you said about the joke you posted, you're right we have to appreciate our life and not keep wanting more and more, sometimes I feel like I've lost the meaning of life, so worried about money and material items and not enjoying my youth and my kids and my hubby and the wonderful nature that Cyprus has to offer. You don't have to be rich to enjoy life but so many people are under this impression.
Example:
On Saturday I took my kids to the lunapark with my hubby we were running after the kids playing with them etc... I noticed a really lovely BMW parked in the parking lot brand new and I had said to my hubby that I really liked it. Then we saw this really naughty kid running around the luna park, he was being chased by his Phillipinian house maid / carer, the father obviously separated from the mother was sitting alone shouting on his hands free not interested in the fact that his kid was running riot and the poor woman couldn't control him. It was obvious that his son wanted some attention. Anyway as we left and pulled away from the parking lot we saw that the lovely BMW was his, and I was just happy that it wasn't mine
