Afrika hacked

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

This is nothing compared to what this paper and its journalists went through in the past.
Their premises have been bombed, journalists jailed with false spy allegations,machinery/equipment confiscated due to debts owed as compensation for the court cases brought against them by right wing politicians (including Rauf Denktash) In fact it was Denktas himself who gave a statement when they were arrested for being spies..
He even went as far as saying "i saw the evidence these guys are spies"

Afrika is the only newspaper which is brave enough to publish true views of Turkish Cypriots.
They are deprived from all the financial support given to other press as advertising fees by the government but they still manage to survive and be the true voice of Turkish Cypriots.

I am proud to say we buy at least one copy a day.
I say "at least" because some days we buy more than one copy just to support the paper.

Did you get yesterday's copy, Iceman? You might have some idea from the contents why the online version was shut down. I have a hunch it has to do with the Atilla Olgaç story.

You should GET BACK to your nonsense thread and answer people's questions...

...if you're not prepared to confront responses then DO NOT start threads in the CyProb section.

No Tim..I don't think it's to do with Atilla Olgaç story because they haven't written any more than other papers on that..
My hunch is the hack has something to do with St.Barnabas articles they have been publishing since Friday.
Were they published on the online version?

I haven't been able to access it since Friday. St Barnabus? That's what they silenced Kutlu Adalı for. It seems to be a very hot potato.
