A citizen of the "Greek Administration of Cyprus" said to arrogant Turkish Ambassador, Orhan Eralp:

"Your country has applied to accede the EU, a club of nations which has made as one of its equal and veto holding members, a country that according to you does not exist. Your country's accession to the European Union is not an "arithmetic calculation of addition!" It is an "algebraic equation," and the ‘x’ factor of this equation is the Republic of Cyprus, which is the one that according to your little theorem does not exist. And since it does not exist, the result of this equation will always remain unsolved. And since the result will remain unsolved, so does your country’s EU accession will be -even if the rest of the EU member states and the whole world do want you to become a member, until you discover this "x" factor which is the RoC." (Lots and lots of laughs in the room...)

The Netherland based original source does not verify what u say, dear Kifeas.

U don't need to fabricate something not happened in order to to gain 1 useless political point.

One useless political point is the one your fellow Turkish ambassador to the UN had tried to gain, yet you saw proper posting it here, without at least commenting on the arrogance and foolishness of this certain Orhan Eralp. I am sure, the very day the (non existing) RoC was acceding the EU, 1st of May 2004, with the whole of Cyprus under its de jure sovereignty and with Turkey being left in the cold, and from then on in need of this non existing entity's approval to ever become an EU member herself; this same very day this certain Orhan Eralp was chewing back and swallowing one after the other, all the above words he spat at the UN those times.

The then situation required things to be executed in that way. A new day on the horizon is next, this time requires things to be executed in other way that properly fits to the current globalization process of the world. When u look back to the history of human beings, u will see so much "when it fits" or "how it fits" type enforcements. Considering the so-called RoC(Greek Cypriot Administration) as the only legitimate government of Cyprus was one of the situations how described "when it fits" or "how it fits"... nevertheless, such a situation was neither the first, nor the last... Times have changed, prepare urself for the next.
