3 points:

1. Wether one likes him or not, Talat is the elected leader of the Tc community.

2. There are some who rush to compare him with Denktash but I think that all this is premature. Time will tell.

3. Imo Talat's powers remain severly limited even now that he is the elected leader of the TCs.

God, please call him "Mehmet Ali Talat" not Ali Talat. We've never got used to call him like that. Well in Turkish, we usually call politicians with their full names or we only use the surnames...

He is the elected leader of TCs + settlers. There is a huge difference.

The answers are biased and have no "positive views". This is wrong AA. You cannot create a poll with all answers giving negative senses.

It's like, "Do you like Angelina Jolie?"
a- No, I hate her
b- I think she is lesbian
c- One Big mac meal with Seven up please...

It doesn't make sense at all lol!

I dont think many people will take this poll seriously.

but I think Talat should stop talking rubbish in the press and do something to make concessions on the TC behalf to the Cyprus problem...to which he accuses RoC of not doing on GC behalf...but infact, he has done far less. He just goes around the wrold, putting down the GC and ass licking some evil leaders like GWB.

Mr Main-Source

This may be what Mr Talat learned how to do from previous examples given to him by Greeks and GC's.

Mr Main-Source

Several years ago when Mr Talat was championing the idea of reunification he was considered by a number of TC's to be a "Greek lover" because he spent so much time with GC's.

All I'm suggesting is that he might have learned a trick or two from hid GC associates and now that he is in a position of power he is using what he learnt.
