The BBC, ITV, Israeli TV and a whole bunch of other news people were in Cyprus during the coup. IT is strange that none of them have posted any figures like yours. And of course you are implying that those of us who lost people in the coup have somehow been convinced to keep quiet about our lost relatives.

Man you really know how to spout bullshit. What is it to you personally anyway if the Turkish army killed GCs. Do you have a contract to polish their public image?

The figures have to be updated after the lies about the number of missing, was outed..Makarios himself said that he streets were littered with GC bodies in his speech..It only takes a little thought to add what has been lied about to the "Official" total and come up with something a bit realistic than your closed mentality will allow!!!

What closed mentality! Cyprus is a small place and everyone knows everyone. We know who was killed and who were arrested, there are hundreds of articles and books written about those days. The foreign TV crews who were on the island took hundreds of hours of newreel and none of this shows any of the casualties you are talking about. You are lying.

Bananiot wrote:I do not know of anyone else that has behaved in this way since 1963 when the Cyprob became a serious issue.

The Cyprus issue was very serious on MANY occasions including 1923, 1931/2, 1955..1959, including the day you were born because I doubt your parents expected to bring forth such crap to this country... what a bloody disgrace!

Bananiot wrote:P.S. Soften the blow my foot! What is wrong with you DT, you do have more sense than this, surely!

Hanging around the forum like a Turkish whore in a kerhane waiting for the slightest to undermine a war crime against GCs seems to have become your specialty you incompetent and ignorant jackass!

As for the Turkish clown... you just don’t make “jokes” like that which is why I believe it IS true. Either way the fool is fucked now because the RoC has taken this very seriously and is after his arse.

Oh yes GR, I hope to God that the "RoC" is as stupid as you are and issue a warrant for this guy to be arrested as soon as he leaves Turkey and enters an EU country.

I for one, probably amongst millions, can hardly wait for this "scenatio" to be written by the "RoC".:lol:

That is exactly what the RoC will do. This will effectively ground this "Star" within Turkish Borders and it will also illustrate the fact that the Turkish Army did many war crimes during the invasion of 74.

You are one idiot for treating this serious matter with such contempt. It only serves to highlight that you bloody Turks are one very Barbaric race.

You arer a fucking racist arsehole who can not differentiate between reality and a "film scenario", now piss off you bastard.

Why don't you just post this "scenario" and be done with it.

Unfortunately, the guy would have to be a dickhead to admit to something like that, because just based on this the RoC could issue warrants for his arrest with INTERPOL.

Like I said before you clown, that I would love to see.

Tell us about this FILM SCENARIO you phucking barbarian.

I already did, keep up with the thread you stupid plonker.

Quit fooling around and give us a source that works.

I did that too, not one but a few of them with an explanation on how you can find it in google also. So don't blame me if you are too stupid to follow instructions and open the link.

Give us just one photograph of all these bodies. There were many news crews in Cyprus, both local and foreign and no one has recorded or witnessed any streets that were litterally littered with bodies.

The COUP was no massacre, but was a column of 4 tanks that advanced to attact Makarios at the Presidential Palace.

He is taking a huge risk of public ridicule then. There will be his fellow soldiers who served with him, his official service records, his family members and a whole bunch of people who can verify his claims of having served in Cyprus in 1974. If that part checks out then his story will gain credibility. Details will come out in due course.

If he is bullshitting and that is proved then it will have a negative result on his career and his current TV series. Could he be that dumb?

Next stop...Turkish Big Brother!!!

The real question we should be asking is how many GC's were killed (Particularly Makarios supporting policemen killed by the Military) by their hellenic friends in the 2 weeks between Samson taking over and the arrival of the Turkish Soldiers.

What about the Greek Cypriots who were killed in battle, buried and recorded as missing with their families being miss-informed by the lovely civilised GC government until recently.

The figures I've found are around 2000 GCs killed by their own the whole period......10,000 Makarios supporters were targeted.

You are one Phucked up idiot for believing that the Greek Military Coup killed 2000 GCs in the space of 5 days.... :?

I know...A bit low for them wasn't it.....They were on a go slow though....Perhaps that had something to do with it...

I don't know what the hell you have been smoking, but the casualties of the Greek Coup are well documented. There were 98 GC casualties due to the Greek Coup.

EOKA B became a factor of diminishing importance after its role in the coup of July 1974, although it continued to be involved in some violence against the Makarios government. Fears that the organization might conduct a terrorist campaign against Turkish occupation in the north never materialized. Many former EOKA B activists accepted an offer of amnesty from Makarios, while several dozen of the most extreme leaders, including Nicos Sampson, were arrested and imprisoned. A law enacted in 1977 provided the basis for purging EOKA B members from the public service, the police, and the National Guard. In early 1978, the group announced its formal dissolution. During the 1980s, there was no further EOKA B activity, although veterans of the group came together periodically on patriotic occasions, as did other disbanded paramilitary groups. Sampson returned to Cyprus from exile in June 1990, but was immediately arrested by the Greek Cypriot police.

Paphitis the embryonic "ape" were u among those EOKA-B remnants that still, fearlessly(No need to mention that there were still the protagonists behind them) threatining Makarios till Makarios let ur masters to conceal the documents and get amnesty for EOKA-B? It lasted 2 years for EOKA-B to had their last mission completed? Disbanded in 1977?

Were there any of the "Missing" that were found to be buried in Greek/GC cemetaries and the "RoC government" lied to the families about their death and whereabouts?

The answer is yes and the next question is, how much more your "government" lied to you and how many more of the "Missing" were in fact "secretly" buried without their families being informed?

The next question is, your government has been proven to have lied to you, can you trust them to tell you the truth about the rest of the "Missing"?

Zan likes to imagine things that will support his views. He is also very good at multiplication.

The fact is that this latest piece of news, the statement by the actor, has shaken the policy of silence that Turkey has imposed about its military action in Cyprus. There will be more people who will come forth and speak out. There is one particular instance that happened in a Mesaoria village, it was probably Kontea or Lysi, where Turkish soldiers were ordered to execute prisoners. Perhaps now there will be pressure to open that particular mass grave and reveal the glory of the Turkish army. My information is that the dead are in three figures.
