Yeah, I agree, Tim is a great asset to the Greek/GC propaganda machine.

Thanks for your concerns, but let those hounds that wish to hound hound, within the rules of the forum.

Tim, your points are valid as a neutral observer who tells it as it is.

However, as has been proven time and time again, Turks are not terribly good at following rules..... 8)

Turks do not even respect the Geneva Convention on POWs and have violated most of its articles.

Tim is one of the “foreign correspondents” and a neutral translator of the forum so his contributions are PRICELESS but when it comes to YOUR contributions… now that’s something we need to have a man to man talk about! Image

Very kind of you. I am making some efforts to learn Greek, though my current level of proficiency is poor. Is your Greek/Gibriaga fluent, Deniz?

Not half as good as your Turkish Tim. I understand more than I can speak. I have been away too long.

Tim said:

"No less than former advisor to Rauf Denktash, Hilmi Özen, says that Olgaç was in Cyprus at the time. Who are you to question his word?"

So we have corroboration on at least part of this actor's claim and rebuttal of assertions made above that he was not even in Cyprus in 1974. Obviously he was in Cyprus.

This is the third individual source of information regarding war crimes committed by the Turkish army in Cyprus. All three are mainland Turks, one has given a deposition to the Attorney General of Cyprus, one is a former Turkish commando who gave information to a Greek embassy diplomat in Ankara and has been made to disappear, and now we have this actor fellow. It will take time but it is certain that we will get to the official policy and orders given to the troops to terrorise the population by committing these crimes.
