Instead sitting here arguing with Turkish on the Internet who did what, get all your information and make websites stating the facts for all the world to see.

By sitting here arguing with them it want take you anywhere. Always the pass to the world they are the good people and everybody else is against them.

They never killed the Armenians, they never killed the Greeks in Smyrna, they never killed the Greeks in Instabul. Always they had the right and all thelse people they were killed from accidents and between them.

The world has to see with what kind of people are dealing with.
If we do not do something they will be always on top, because with their lies are tying to convinve people they are right and everyone else is wrong. Check the Internet to see how many sides are puting up every day.

See some articles complaining even for their moss in the free part of Cyprus and they do not see what they did to our homes and Churches in the illigaly occupied side.

I also have certain amount of empathy with Bafitis becasue his ancestors used to work for my dad. I just feel that the fact that he was able to escape all that poverty and become a pilot, the boy's done well. You know what I mean?

Do not waste a minute. Start websites and even in Wikipedia you can start an article stating all the facts.

This is a new "war" of words isn't it?

So much of what comes up when you Google for information is Turkish propaganda, and even when Cyprus Forum comes up, the Turk-TC posts outnumber the GC posts, so that all you see is their made up numbers, lies and tall stories. They seem to feel no shame in distortions and outright lies.

Their false statements have to be countered with the facts, or at least scrutinised, each time, so that whoever comes across one of their posts might see how it does not stand up to dissection.

There are very few GCs posting here, compared to the TCs ... so why don't you post your views, like now, more often?

Well, we must admit that the ELDYK soldiers who fought in Cyprus in 1974 kept to the rules of war. There is not one single incident of rape or otherwise harming civilians by them. They had the opportunity to harm civilians if they were so inclined in villages northwest of Nicosia where they came in contact with TC civilians, they did not.

Does Murataga, Atlilar and Sandallar mean anything to you? All civilian men, women and children wiped out. Are you totally oblivious to the atrocities committed by Greek Cypriot Army.

Forgive me but I do not know who ELDYK soldiers are.

The Turkish invasion that murdered 1000s and ethnically cleansed 100s of thousands of Greek Cypriots was on July 20th 1974. Now give me the dates for the events you describe.

When you find the dates you will see, that as always it is the Turks who started the war and the atrocities, and then they come here to present themselves as the innocent ones because during the war they started they also had some casualties!

It's ok for the Greeks and GCs, they got Piratis to defend them and brainwash them with a load of lies and BS.

I like it how when the Turkish aggressors can not dispute the facts that I give, but they still keep trying to present themselves as the innocent ones and the Greek Cypriots as the "evils" despite the facts that:

1) They are the ones who started the wars and conflicts during which both sides suffered and had casualties.

2) Their suffering and casualties are a drop in the ocean when compared to the casualties and suffering of GCs, both in terms of numbers as well as in terms of amount of time.

Yes it should be Cypriots. Many innocent people from both sides have died in those wars and conflicts.

The problem is that in all cases the Turks (= their ruling elite - which has always been the military) has always been looking for excuses to start those wars and conflicts during which all those people died. And they continue looking for excuses today to continue the war and their illegal occupation.

Don't you think is time to stop the lame excuses and finally allow democracy and human rights for Cyprus? Or you want to continue the war in your effort to steal our lands and take away our human and democratic rights?
