Anyone (would have to assume mostly NON EU nationas) have any experience in getting your Bank Guarantee back from Immigration? I had to give a 500CYP Guarantee in February 2 years ago and it's about to expire in the next few weeks. I will be leaving the country soon and would like to get my money back before I depart. Has anyone had any experience doing this? I was told by my bank manager I have to get the original Bank Guarantee back from the immigration department in order to have the funds released back into my bank account.. However do I have to provide immigration with anything when I ask for the original bit of paper back?
