One Question

Postby saravakos » Thu Jan 22, 2009 10:41 am

Israel bases its existence on a paramythi written 3000 years ago, because lets face it religion is a paramythi that can not be proven if you believe or not. It was given a state by Britain and the UN who clearly have no right to do that.

My question is, if this 'Holy Land' that was promised to them in a book was in Cyprus and half or more of Cyprus was given to the Jews/Zionists would you all sit back and accept it? What gives Britain and the UN the right to carve up someones homeland?

Actually Cyprus was one of the options for a homeland for the Jews. They wouldn't stand a chance though. EVeryone knows Jews are no good in the mountains. Our close affiliation to mountain goats and donkeys would make us head for the hills and EOKA would have been targetted against the Jews.

We used to say, ' kim kimin malını kime veriyor?/ ΅who is giving whose land to whom?' ( a LOGO we used in the 19760/70's when there was the threat of ENOSIS)

The answer is 'who ever wields the stick'. Unfortunately. Human rights do not come into it. Self interest does; as we see over and over again.

You must have seen the gıant bulldozers they use to demolısh Palestınıan homes. They would merely flatten the mountaıns ın no tıme; if need be.

Let's look at it from a Jewish point of view. The world stood idle when Jews were been persecuted, robbed of land, property, lives. They ended up looking for a home as their homes were taken, they asked for help and were ignored moved on and in some cases back in simalar camps they had just been released from.
Maybe if the world had been a little more understanding the Palestine issue may never of got off the ground, and Jews would have returned from were they came from, who knows ?

Well who else gave the Jews their land?? I dont think the Palestinians bent over and said here you go...take our land.

I'm sorry purdey for what happened in the Holocaust and for everyone who died in that war, but to give away land which isnt yours because of guilt and something which was written in a book 3000 years ago is just plain wrong...and on top that now the Palestinians have become the minority living in squalor. Can you not see the similarities with the Nazis?
