Although I am not a supporter of Matsakis I must congradulate him for his action - asking Erdogan for the illegal occupation troops of his country's in CyR.
Furthermore, the letter addressed to Erdogan is worth of millions of applauses.

Given the chance, I would also like to thank Erdogan - although I'm not one of his supporters: lol: - for the attitude towards Matsakis. He really showed his true turkish colours and reviled the turkish mentality.
I also like to thank him for his rude and insulting comments towards Matsakis in front of many other Meps and EU officials. …thank you for exposing your self and the face of your country Mr Erdogan.
Once again is proved that "donkeys do not become race horses by wearing racing saddles"!

Erdogan however reminded and confirmed the "pou sou nefko pou paeis" stance of many Ts and Tcs of the forum. What I mean; Matsakis asked him why he doesn't withdraw the occupation troops from CyR and Erdogan answered refering to CyR accesion talks etc.

Isn't it funny that this guy Matsakis was a "traitor" in every Greek and GCs eyes when he mentioned partition, now he is hero.

TCs will not settle with less rights then they were supposed to have in the past which were overrun by GCs. If TCs can accept a GC president, you should be ready to have a TC president as well. That's exactly having the same rights for everyone. Other options are not acceptable which would lead to a majority-minority relationship and end up in failure once again.

In the US, it is permitted to burn the US flag by US citizens, which is protected under the Constitution.

I don't think anyone has a problem if a TC becomes a President...........as long as he is elected Democratically with one man one vote by all Cypriots in the same election.!
