I am, against war. But look at the messages above. I've seen a crescent-star flag covered with shit. Crescent and Star are national symbols for Turks and this is far behind insulting. And also I've read threats to North by telling how many tanks South has etc etc.

SoSolidCrew, are you able to conceptualize what the illegal occupation of northern Cyprus by Turkey means to the Greek Cypriots? Are you able to conceptualize what the illegal expulsion of 1/3 of the GC population from their ancestral lands, villages and homes in the north, means to the GCs? Are you able to conceptualize what the illegal usurpation and destruction by Turkey of the GC's properties and historical and religious landmarks and monuments in the occupied north, means to the Greek Cypriots? Are you able to conceptualize what the illegal transfer of mainland Turkish population in Cyprus, in order to take up the place of the expelled Greek Cypriots and alter the demographics of that part of Cyprus, means to the Greek Cypriots?

SoSolidCrew, if you are so narrow-minded to be able to understand what it means, let me tell you that it is more than a provocation and an insult, far and much more than the mere abuse of your star and crescent symbols!

SoSolidCrew, only the mere fact that a part of Cyprus in which GCs were the indigenous inhabitants by majority, for thousands of years and way well before any Turk arrived in Cyprus -400 years ago, you now dare to regard, call and brand it as the “Turkish Cyprus,” just because you illegally invaded and after occupying it, you expelled its indigenous GC inhabitants, is thousands of times more of an insult and a provocation than the mere shitting on a Turkish flag!

Another "Cypriot" falls off the wagon...

Just thank your lucky stars that the ideology shown above is in the minority from both sides. I notice that the GC extreme elements are up to their usual tricks. With the settlement they will all be shackled and be imprisoned in their own ideology. They will be shown to be the fools that they are. They will not be able to hijack the negotiations or the peace process that will follow. The TC's will find peace and security, Talat will make sure of that. If the GC government cannot control its extremes, then there are also other solutions than can be implemented afterwards. Just look at what happened in Czechoslovakia.
Very simple.
We will have peace with you or without you.

Both sides of the coin just means you are the land-grabbing thieves, because you have Turkey behind you, and we are the victims that you wish to destroy.

That is both sides!

All Turks say no to a Hellene desired Cyprus solution. Let alone all other aspects of Cyprus problem. Do u agree that TC community is politically equal to GC community at community basis? Which GC leader agreed that TC community is politically equal partner of GC community in the last 100 years? None? All other aspects of Cyprus problem revolve around the political equality of 2 communities at community basis.

You at least prove one point. Talat is his own man. The elections may well be the ousting of him. Only time will tell. It could also be that he believes pending elections may allow the Greeks to play for time, which will play into the hands of the rejectionists. It may well be a very clever ploy to corner GCs. If he wins, if he looses, you could say that he gambled and lost. No more.
Even if Eroglu comes to power, I am not so sure that he will be able to resist negotiations like Denktas did in the past.
You are wrong. Turkey does want peace and soon.

I am sorry that translation was not made at that moment. I wanted to see the face of Matsakis when he heard the reply. :D Clearly he is an enemy of Turkey and a flag thief.

And you very wrong Mr.Matsakis. Only Southern Cyprus has become a member of EU. TCs were never represented in accession talks of the EU. GCs cannot negotiate on behalf of TCs. If EU wants to include them to the Union, they have to make separate negotiations.

But, you definitely have a right to use a spelling-checker.
