Baseless rubbish and utterly IRRELEVANT to this thread.
instead they are vociferously criticizing a legally elected President whom they want to see hanged.
Hamas is also the
legally elected Palestinian representative but that doesn't stop some from persecuting and killing them for whatever reasons, so being “legally elected” means fuck-all we have all now learned.
Getting back to Bush… if you do the crime(s) you just gotta do the time!
Usual rubbish as always , if you are comparing an organization such as Hamas with the USA then you are being quite frivolous , in which you may say the same for Talat !!
Bush as the President of the USA acted with the authority vested in hin as commander of Chief of the USA armed forces .The savages started
both wars mate and action had to be taken.
Don't think that Obama will just just back and take the shit from Iran either !
although this is not addressed to me, again i ask: what rock have you been hiding under? Milti has been defending my country for as long as i can remember, and his views are well know, and well substantiated.
Bush was wrong going to war, but after the 9-11 attacks, he was not left with much choice.
Obama-mania does concern me, but he offers hope, and i don't think any of us expect changes overnight. his taking office is kind of like having had an 8 year relationship with some guy who treated you bad and stole all your money, and now that you have gotten rid of him, you are free to date others. obama is that really great first date with a new guy. lets see where it takes us. i am excited as hell to have him in the white house.
GorillaGal,
Can I ask you the same question 'what rock have you been hiding under ?'
Bush was wrong going to war, but after the 9-11 attacks, he was not left with much choice.
No one now believes that there was any connection between the 9-11 attackers and Iraq - none of the enquiries in the US have established ANY link between Iraq and 911. Even Colin Powell belatedly recanted the already tenuous connections which the US govt had tried to establish between the two.
And remember US forces did not overturn the Taleban in Afghanistan - it was essentially the Afghan Northern Alliance, aided by US cruise missile attacks and aerial attacks. Did Bush have a choice whether to launch a brutal and ineffective aerial bombardment of Afghanistan ? Yes. He could have not bombed.
