South Greek side getting more aggressive.

There are two theories circulating behind all that’s been happening in the last year or so in the RoC…

1. Center and right wing elements are causing gradual and escalating scenes to undermine the communist government.

2. The governing left is purging right wingers from important posts to replace with communists to increase their dominance.

I believe it’s a combination of both!

My local municipality is an AKEL stronghold. Absolute peace, quiet and tranquillity reign here. No aggression in sight. How does that fit into your theory?

If you read the articles I posted it's not just GR's "theory", is it Timmy boy?

Yes, I just wondered if it is significant that AKEL municipalities are being spared all this mayhem and slaughter.

The more important question at the moment is "is the South going towards another junta era"?

Another coup and murders to get rid of the communists maybe?

Maybe the CIA is plotting against the GCs, again?

Maybe it's the EU paying the hooligans and the "police" to topple an unwanted commie government within the EU especially after the Cristofias speach in Russia and the deals the "RoC" made with Russia?

Maybe it the "deep Turkish state" showing the EU that they made a massive mistake allowing the "RoC" to join the EU?

It could also be a Greek nature to fight amongst themselves and blame everyone else for it?

As the saying goes, "it'll get worse before it gets better".

What signs should I be looking for, mate, before selling out in panic and fleeing? Any pointers for a newby like me from sombeody with so much knowledge about Cyprus?

When you see bullet flying about and Russian soldiers walking the streets, it's time to get out, especially if you see Makarios, Grivans and Samson walking down the road, or up the road for that matter, holding hands.
