CBBB,

You mean Typical news from the Southern side!

Can't wait for the nationalist to start pounding on the Turkish Cypriots living in what the Greek Cypriots falsely call, "the free areas".

Looks like a price is paid for living in the south if you're a Turkish Cypriot.

And you guys expect us to sign a unification deal with no guarantees - don't make me laugh!

Can't be worse than the price the indigenous people of Cyprus have been paying for the last 400 years eh?

Stop Whinging Get Real - my god, what's this 400 years rubbish.

Not even the Black Afro-Americans complaign as much as you guys do. Under Ottoman rule, unlike the rule of many other empires, we gave the Greek Cypriots rights and freedoms of Religion and Equality almost unheard of in those times. If the Ottomans wanted to they could have removed every Greek speaking person from Cyprus in a flash, but chose not to. And you GCs have the audacity to say that we are not humanitarian, obviously you've never visited the areas or Salonica where the Turks complaign of their lack of freedoms on a regular basis, where they are NOT allowed to be known as Turks but as Muslims of Greece and where, more importantly, thet are supposedly living under the false-protection of the European Union - what a load of rubbish.

You should count yourselves lucky considering the ill treatment we've had since 1963, and still are experiencing from the Greek Cypriots with the continued objections to trade freely from Children's' medicine to food products - you guys are so arrogant and blinded, but obviously not as much as the ignorant and senseless LIBERAL Turkish Cypriots who have been tricked in siding with you and your Greek Cypriot nationalistic outlook.

Partition is a reality matey, live with it. These attacks are not in the least surprising for those Turkish Cypriots (like myself) who know the truth, know the true intentions of the Greek Cypriots people behind their closed doors, and who was able to witness the nationalistic/ hate infested slogans against ALL Turkish Cypriots (regardless) at the pre-referendum rally of the Annan Plan 5 in April 2004. As a person who can fluently speak the Greek language, I know you guys too well.

Let it go!

I don't think these people were living in the RoC, if they were their number plates would have been different.

You are displaying your disability to assimilate data once again.

CBBB or should I call you Inspector Cluseo! It's the general display of Greek nationalism and Hatred towards the Turks I was actually referring to matey.

In another, a Turkish Cypriot reported that a group of around 10 youths accosted him while he was in his car on the traffic lights on Makarios Avenue near the Hilton Hotel and the Apoel building. After pounding on and damaging the car, the assailants fled the scene.
Cyprus Mail.

And this was in Northern Cyprus was it?

“We need to denounce all such acts by extremist and nationalist circles…” President Christofias said.
Cyprus Mail.

"Nationalist Circles" more like the entire area of Southern Cyprus as a single circle.

Why don't you come to see? I know you have to go the long way round, but that is the price you have to pay for being a Turk.
