Its only 6 months,waste of time but you might make some useful contacts for future use.Some of these dopey juveniles might end up in a high position in society.
I know that British born Cypriots people born in 1959 were exempt from National service but when was the last birthdate in 1960 ?

The day that the Republic came into being which would be 16 August 1960 I guess.

Gosh ... that is close, best to confirm the date I gave with other sources mate.

As to suing .... yep sue them all mate, don't hesitate, always sue the b'stards is what I say., whoever they are.

Not worth it.Storm in a greek coffee cup. I volunteered, did my bit for the National Guard(serving up breakfast and making sandwiches and giving out chocolate milk shake) got my apolotirio last year and free to leave Cyprus and come back.

I find it very difficult to believe that anyone who is a member of this forum did their army service, we could all have got out of it due to insanity!
