EUROVISION SONG CONTEST

Postby humanist » Sun Jan 18, 2009 12:10 pm

I believe in good faith and in hope for unification the Republic of Cyprus ought to invite the TC's to put a song and singer among others to represent Cyprus.

I think that is a great idea, however, the TCs seem to be rejecting all acts of goodwill, such as the FIFA and UEFA offer for TC football teams being allowed to play recognised international football.

It seems they are so use to isolation, that any interaction on the world stage brings about a great sense of insecurity and anxiety. :? As a result, they are now isolating themselves by rejecting all acts of goodwill from FIFA, UEFA and CFA.

Humanist, they don't need an invitation. The competition is open to all Cypriots.

Hey, I've got a good idea.

How about our politicians join your politicians and represent the whole island together.......as per the 1960 agreements?

Why don't you dissolve the "trnc" and join the RoC as per the 1960 agreements? The Zurich constitution has not been dissolved and you also have 15 parliamentary seats waiting for you, including the office of Vice President.

Hasnt the singer already been chosen by the Cybc? Of course majority rule means its a GC or even a Greek, never has a TC represented Cyprus.

Why don't you ask your leaders why they don't want to return to the 1960 agreements exactly as it was agreed at the time?

As long as it is Greek and willing to perform under the Greek flag and the Greek national anthem.....How did your Armenian entry go then

In the good old days of Brick lane when the Jews were kings in the area, they had two symbols of faith at their disposal....On saturday they wore a cross and traded as Christians...On sundays they wore the star of David so that they could trade under Jewish laws......

I got a better idea. SInce Zan and VP are into singing and dancing so much I think CYBC should gift the eurovision entry to the TC's.

This would never happen, GCs would never accept or allow a TC singer or Turkish song represent them.
