Zan, I agree with you that this is the wrong way to select any candidate for any position, but this is exactly what VP is asking for in a United Cyprus, that there must be a committee for everything to select TC's and GC's by turn and not allow free election by the people, just because of the numerical differences between the two communities. Therefore, if you do not like this method of selecting candidates, and I'm with you, I would strongly suggest we go to individual voting method, but then you are going to "cry wolf" by calling the majority a "Racist" for not choosing a TC as often as you would like them to do.!

No I wouldn't say that Kikapu.......Just like everywhere in the adult world, the people of an adult country do what is right not just follow a doctrine that puts others at risk because of a misplaced ideology. That means statements you make regarding GC's and TC's along with your beliefs regarding a united Cyprus. TRNC exists and it is the state of TCs. That is what I believe too. There will be a unified Cyprus only if you treat them equally and not as a minority. You said "a lot of" TCs in this forum think differently. You have an obligation to show proofs.

At the risk of getting somewhere nearer the subject of this post, that is this EuroDribble nonsense...I think the only good act to have won Eurodribble were that Norwegian (?) band of heavy mettlers two or three years ago. Showed me that the national juries do have a sense of humour.

There r some "TCs" that do not recognize TRNC, it's true. All of those TCs r xxNilxx, that he or she appears here on CF as Yasemin and mariacy maybe under some different nicks as well. Moreover, no one has to agree or disagree with anyone. Everyone have their own point of view and opinions. Let's say there r several 100 TCs that don't recognize TRNC, so what?
