How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

What do we do if the GCs never vote a TC singer? How can you expect us to take that leap of faith when we know the GCs and their mindset so well, look at this forum aprime example that proves me right time and time again.

What would you do if they do vote a TC singer if rightfully earned?
Would you turn in your grave if you were alive, or would you keep enticing a form of enosis?

This woud show that GCs have changed and did not vote solely along ethnic lines just like the 12 points they give Greece every year, therefore the safeguard to guarantee our participation would become redundant.

The only way for this to happen then, would be to go through what every contestant has to go through in front of a live audience, perform and get judged by judges. A Turk or TC that enters like everyone else, will get judged like everyone else. IF they have talent, they will be rated and noticed.

Do you trust GCs to be unbiased? I dont.

Lets say for 10 years TCs have never been chosen although the singer was more talented than the GC entrants but a GC was yet again chosen what do we do? There has to be safeguards.

I believe your right on this Vp, and theres nothing I can say to convince otherwise. But you have a habbit of jumping on the racial card at every chance that you can find to throw a banana peel to contraversy.
So the question is do you really think the world will change their rules to every legal platform just to appease the Turks way of seeing things?

Without these sorts of safeguards it will be stalemate forever the only option remaining will be agreed partition for return of land. We cannot be expected to take that jump of faith knowing full well your tendencies to discriminate against TCs, we need safeguards and plenty of them to guarantee our effective say in the running of a united Cyprus as we do not trust you one iota and neither do you us.

With these sort of safegaurds which you are demanding and are undemocratic and favors the TC's you are asking for trouble again. If you do not like democracy just leave the country. I can move to a country like Saudi and earn lots of money if I wish.....I don't like their laws and habbits.....so I don't go.......and if I would try and I don't like it....there is 1 option.....move elsewhere

Address my concerns, you cannot say they are not realistic and ask for me to take a leap of faith into the arms of GCs. We just wont do it, Cyprus can stay divided forever.

The Cyprus Problem can never be solved due to the Eurovision Song Contest?

Let's not take part, can we agree on that?

Can we also agree that it is not allowed to shown on TV in Cyprus?
