The reduction in rainfall is directly related to destruction of trees. Destruction of trees is directly related to the Cyprus problem and the refugees. Unfortunately we are responsible for the reduction in rainfall.

However there are two solutions to this problem.
First one is the EU study and recommendation of a pipeline from Turkey as being the most economic as well as hygienic.
The second is also from turkey which will appeal to the more religious of the GC's. The Turks have their equivalent performing rain dance on mountain tops. All GC's have to do is to invite one of these hocas to perform on Trodos or Besparmak and problem will be solved.

Now now Fred , the Turkish army demanded that all T/Cs from the South should be moved to the North. They gave an ultimatum . The British to assist their transportation to the North or they would come and get them themselves.
I can see that You were not there at the time , those that were will concur with what I have just posted.
