Head for the hills Bananiot!!!

Still trying to prove to the wife and neighbors that you are one of them CBBB...Maybe the kids are going away from you and making you feel like a foreigner...It could just be in your head you know....You are becoming more of a closed minded nationalist Greek than any Greek....Don't panic!!!

I do not understand what you base your accusations on, I was just suggesting to Bananiot that it was not a good idea to hang around after the comments he made. A purely humanitarian suggestion.

I am a damn sight more of a Cypriot than you are (I've lived here a lot longer). If you think I am an extremist, where do you come on the scale?

I didn't say you were an extremist mate...I seems that you are just riding on a wave!!!

Well I suppose I could be considered a so called "Silver Surfer".

Zan,

You need to clear this up for me, please.!

What year are we talking about in which these events took place in Küçük Kaymakli.?

What Concentration Camp and starving of TC's are you talking about and where.?

If EOKA (B) was involved in Küçük Kaymakli, don't you think no one would have lived to tell their stories, since they were a brutal bunch according to even your own account of them.?

I had my experience along with my family in Küçük Kaymakli in 1963 and it is not as you described above, so it must be another time and another place that you must be talking about, so please tell us all the details, because I'm very interested to know what was going on in the place I was born and spent my first 8 years there.........thanks.!

Did you know a Mahalebici Mehmet from there?

I will answer you better when I see my brother in law again Kikapu. His story is quite likes yours but his sister nearly died because of starvation and infection from bites. Those details I can remember well. The others I will get from him and let you know.

I don't remember names Zan but I do remember events very well and very clearly and I have written about them already, so I will wait for more information from you as to when, where and what happened to your BIL, his sister and to their family. I have extra interest with events that took place in Küçük Kaymakli and I take them very personally if and when anyone tries to make political gains on our unfortunate experience. I will not allow it to be misused by anyone. I hope you understand where I'm coming from, Zan.!

No Zan, I do not make threats against anyone. I do however hold people accountable to deliver in what they say and claim. You have stated that your BIL was locked up in a Concentration Camp with his sister and family, who was left to starve into illness by the EOKA in my little town of Küçük Kaymakli. We all want to know all the details, that's all.!

Great Zan, and please get as much information as possible.!

It seems you are hung up on the description of their incarceration when I said it was a concentration camp....Am I right?

Was it not your intention to get every one's attention by using the words "Concentration Camp and Starvation", Zan.? It paints the scenes from the Nazi death camps in Germany during WWII. If not, you could have said something like "being held against their will in captivity". Words do have meanings, so choose them carefully if you do not want others to have "hung ups". It distract from the message you really want to convey, and I want to help you to convey your message as to what happened to these people without being distracted with words that causes distractions.!

Looking forward to hearing their story. Perhaps they were fellow "jail birds" with me for a while!

Some further news now. The Association of ex EOKA fighters has come up with a gem. They now reckon that EOKA B had nothing to do with the coup against Makarios because "EOKA B had disbanded six moths earlier". These are the people who are accusing the Minister of distorting history.

That would make sense, since Grivas had died in the January before the coup.

Really, and they say that EOKA B would never undertake the coup had Grivas been alive. Whom should we believe? I tell you what. In a few years from now these fascists will tell us that Makarios scored an own goal (organised the coup against himself) and the oracles of the time would second their claim, from here to eternity.

EOKA B didn't undertake the coup. The Greek junta did.
