According to you and the rest of the divisionists , those that want permanent partition. The vast majority , as shown by the last referendum , want a unified Cyprus .

Not the vast majority on the Greek/GC side though which is why unification never came about.

Sorry that it's been a long since i've replied but i've been really busy at uni.

I think 1st i have to reply to PALIOMETOXO.
If this is your way of trying to make Turkey look bad...
Typical Greek...
Who says that Turks can't build themselves?
We've built ourselves a beautiful country.
Even war takes hard work and effort, and we're willing to go the distance.
And if you're still sooking about Istanbul, Get over it!!!
YOU LOST, WE WON!!
Maybe you Greeks should put more effort into protecting your own country before trying to invade others i.e; Cyprus!
You know the saying, keep an eye on what you've got, because when you move it to something else, you'll lose what you started off with.
If i were you i'd keep my eye on Athens!

Next to ALEXIOS and NIKITAS.
If Cyprus were nearer to Greece... or even close to Greece, then i would be happy to say that it's a Greek island... BUT IT'S NOT!!
I'd be much more happier to have Syrians in Cyprus.
While we're on the topic of ownership, if you want to give Cyprus back to the original owners, i'm all for that!
Give it back to the Egyptians and the Venetians!

ORACLE.
So it's the TC's who hold Cyprus for ransom..
How?
By trying to live in peace with the Greeks while they try and take our land from underneath us?
Is it our fault that the Greeks want everything they can lay their hands on?

Remember when they were going to do an experiment underground with the synchrotron in Geneva and all it took was one idiot to say that it's going to create a black hole and everyone's going to die, and everybody believed him?

If you understood how it works, like i do, then you would know that there's nothing to worry about.

It's the same with Cyprus.

All it took was one idiot to say that Cyprus is a Greek island and for everybody that didn't know any better to believe him.

From last referendum ,I ungerstood that majority of the GC's does not want to live with us my dear Miltiades .

I am afraid, That is what majority of the peoples thinks in the streets my dear friend . I don't know what will happen in next one .

Halil , the last referendum was opposed by he majority of G/Cs based on the contents of the plan , the likely repercussions of such a plan and primarily because it was not seen as a unifying plan , on the contrary it was one of division along the lines of G/Cs and T/Cs , as an example take a look at the classification of our police stations where 50% would fly the Greek flag and the other 50% the Turkish flag. As a Cypriot I opposed the plan because it was divisive , and offered the future Cypriots a massive amount of ammunition for further conflict.
It was opposed because the G/Cs do not want to live next to T/Cs.
I would personally have you and many many T/Cs as my neighbours and you know that.
There are as you know many voices from T/Cs , on this forum quite a few , who share my vision of a united Cyprus and the belief that we are all primarily Cypriots.
