Are they going to buy more missile and tanks ?

Will you give back the property the turkish army took as well?

it depends to the negotiations between Talat and Kristofyas.

No it doesn't. The sole reason why Republic of Cyprus is not able to exercise its sovereignty over the whole island of Cyprus is because the Turkish army illegally occupies this part.

If the Turkish army stopped enforcing illegalities the Republic of Cyprus would exercise its right for sovereignty over the whole island and legality as well as the human rights of Cypriots would be restored.

The TC minority has no right over the north part of Cyprus, which is the homeland of 5 times more GCs than TCs. The Republic of Cyprus on the other hand has every right to defend its own territory.

This might be a theoretical question today, but it will not be always theoretical. Not because Turkey will one day out of the blue voluntarily accept to respect international law and the sovereignty of RoC (we know this will not happen) but because Turkey will no longer be able to maintain its troops on our island due to changes in the balance of power.

And since we would have not given up any of our rights by signing any capitulation agreement, then we will take our lands back according to international law and restore legality, either some TCs like it or not.

thats right...and turkeys goverment at the time telling tmt to place bombs in turish cypriot part of cyprus was for peace? so the tcs start rioting and looting gcs houss and work places and gcs are supposed to sit there and do nothing?

turkey caused the problems in cyprus tcs going to war with gcs for something turkey did, even denktash admitted it on tv saying the tcs thought it was the gcs emediatly and swore vengance against gcs when it wasent even gcs who did it...

so if thats your twisted view of bully then i dont know what to tell you... it all boils down to turkey making plans to start wars in cyprus for their own gain for their wish to split cyprus in two and have an excuse. they sure are cleaver i give them that they managed to fool the tcs and gcs to fighting eachother and building the hate up so much between both sides.

You see Insan , how we end up from basic discussing .

Excuse ....excuse ......

It's you ... no It's you .......

anything can be happen Insan, one day it will not be surprise for me ,If Turkey moves back her soldiers from Cyprus . Have a look what Turkey was saying all the time , When the right times comes they will go back to their barracks.

What the Turkey and Turkish Cypriots side saying all the times . They both wants guarantees of the Turkey and around 650 soldiers to stay in Cyprus also they says 950 Greek soldiers from Greece will stay in Cyprus .

I got another idea ..... lets assume again .....
Turkish troopes has gone like you said . Talks are goes on between two sides . They agreed to open the buffer zone for GC's settlement and United nationes troopes are all gone back . Only UN offices are left opened in Cyprus . ( we assume no Greek soldiers left as well only 950 present and NG officers are only GC's)

What is the ideas about above ?

i dont think removing the troops will make much of a difference its just a good will gesture on turkeys side to show they want a solution and they can trust gcs.. but atm they are putting the troops for show to show the world they are "scared" of gcs

looks like most of you missing the way of the talks .

Talks are going on circle of the Bi-communal .Bi-zonal system . At last talks they also look at the past agreements . Try to remmember past agreement basis ..... what they were ?

there will be talks tommorow morning again . expected to complete the first chapter of the negotiations, governance and power sharing.

During the negotiations process which was planned to be held under 6 main chapters, the leaders will also take up the issues of ‘the European Union’, ‘Economy’, ‘Security’ and ‘Land’. from those words , what do you understand ? What will be shape of the CYPRUS ?
