Iraq and Afghanistan are touted as having a “free” press despite both countries being illegally overrun by the US, and in the case of Iraq a puppet government installed currently making deals to “legitimize” and prolong the US’ illegal invasion & occupation!

So much for the "freedomhouse"!

They also erroneously placed Turkey in Western Europe.

I have two questions:

-Does "free" means free of charge? :?
-Why is Turkey labeled as "partly free" and Russia "not free"? IMO it's the opposite since turkish journalists are prosecuted, imprisoned and even executed very often.

In Russia they are "unofficially" executed, in Turkey it is official.

Typical American trash from Washington D.C! Anyone who drivels on about a “threat to democracy” must have the criminal Bush family behind them…

“Freedom House is a clear voice for democracy and freedom around the world. Since its founding in 1941 by prominent Americans concerned with the mounting threats to peace and democracy,”

http://www.freedomhouse.org/template.cfm?page=2

Hopefully Obama will go after all these criminals soon and bring a little justice to this planet…

I agree. They are both in South-Eastern Europe.
