This movie was made by Turkish speaking Cypriots. It shows that peace is possible and that we should never loose hope in reunion, no matter how hopeless the situation looks today. Peace to Cyprus. It's quite good.

Has anybody watched the movie 'AKAMAS' ?

Oh, because it was made my TSCs that's why. I think that they might do another one with TSCs and GSCs together soon. BTW, I recommend you watch AKAMAS (it's done my GCSs), however it's great... It really gets you emotional.

It's basically about a Turkish speaking Cypriot boy (Omeris), grows up with Greek speaking Cypriots during the innocent years of his homeland. He has been taught that human beings have no differences, thought they call themselves Greek or Turk (unfortunetly) :( , Muslim or Christian. When he falls in love with a Greek speaking Cypriot girl, he realizes that the world around is not as he expected. But the game of love is often painful: He has to find a way to win the girl's love. Later, he discovers that, what is natural for the rest of the world – to be together with the person one loves – for him turns out to be an adventure. He has to fight against the absurdity of fanaticism that invades his personal life and tries to crush it.
