CYPRUS TURKISH FOOTBALL FEDERATIONS PROPOSAL SENT BY FIFA-UEFA TO JOIN KOP IS UNNACCEPTABLE

The Cyprus Turkish Football Federation has said that the recommendation by the Federation of International Football Associations FIFA and the Union of the European Football Association UEFA to join the Greek Cypriot Cyprus Football Union-KOP is unacceptable.

The Federation said for the recommendations to be acceptably by them they would need to meet with FIFA-UEFA officials and make some changes to the proposal.
In a written statement issued by the President of the Cyprus Turkish Football Federation Omer Adal, it said that the Federations Board of Directors evaluated the documents sent to them by FIFA and UEFA among other issues.

It states that issues that had previously been agreed upon between FIFA/UEFA and the Federation where now being presented as contradictions and did not concur with the recommendations made by the Cyprus Turkish Football Federation.

‘Therefore it is not possible to accept the proposal made by the football federations’, it stated.

Meanwhile the Cyprus Turkish Football Federation has accepted an invitation by Turkey’s Football Federation to attend its meeting on the 20th of January.

You are angry Halil. So am I. Turkish Cypriot sport is being suffocated and I do not like it. I would like our sportsmen/women to be on par with our Greek Cypriot brothers. That way we can shut GRs mouth, when he talks about how great the GC sides are and how they are recognised world-wide. In the UK I live in a demokracy. Thats how I see it. I am angry at this missed chance. Are you not angry?

I know you will not let it go but I am apologise for my language. I am finding the whole scenario frustrating and annoying. They should remove sport from politics, whatever it entails.

I know you will not let it go but I am apologise for my language. I am finding the whole scenario frustrating and annoying. They should remove sport from politics, whatever it entails.

Football is politics Deniz and is being used by the GCs to take control of the whole island.
