Cypriot Football getting closer to agreeing re-unification

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

You're too much in a hurry, VP. Without this deal, TC football teams wouldn't survive for much longer. Give us credit for rescuing you from oblivion first.

Thirty years under the 'trnc' have not exactly left TC football teams ready to compete...

You have to first show you can administer this agreement fairly without discrimination or manipulation, do you think you can manage that.

The standard of Tc football will have to get better but what if one of our teams actually beats yours?

You’re running ahead of yourself again. The TC clubs have to agree first to implement this deal. Once TC sides accept the authority of the Cyprus FA then they should expect to be treated fairly under Cyprus FA rules.

As for the standard of football in the occupied areas, I can't really comment.

If yours can beat Turkish teams like Fener/Gala/Trabzon etc, then you can also beat ours.

So let us know... how do you fair against Turkish teams?

What if there are no TC players in the GC teams or the national team but the better GC players start making up the numbers in the TC teams?

Then so be it...but more importantly what will you think about there not being any TC players in GC or national team.

I would think that the TC community could not produce football players that are good enough.

If I was the manager of the team though, I would want to produce the strongest one possible so that can involve 11 TC's some TC's or no TC's.

If there are none on the team, then so be it.

Why can we not produce players good enough?

So if you could clearly see that a manager was being biased in favor of GC players when the TC player was obviously far better you would stick up for the TC player or just keep quite? or that TC players were being taken to Turkey and doing well yet not 1 TC was picked for the national team, would you stop to think theres something not quite right here?

I'd check the national rugby side and see that there are 2 TC players in there. Thats without any agreements with any pseudo-football associations.

By the time you realise that the world doesn't revolve around this tiny community in occupied Cyprus it will be too late. You, as a community are not worth the trouble of being prejudiced against. If you're any good you will be picked, if not you won't. Can you deflate your collective cosmic ego's enough to understand this?

Surely being if being picked comes down to the outlook of just one person or group of people who are prejudiced then we will never be picked. There must be systems eg checks and balances to make sure this does not happen and if it does it should be high lighted and dealt with using the heaviest penalties possible to deter and ensure it does not happen again. The surgeon can be brilliant but he is a man with a knife he can either save your life or kill you......please try to understand.

Looks like the clubs will ratify the deal in the north.
