Cypriot Football getting closer to agreeing re-unification

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

We're really getting way ahead of ourselves with all this talk of international matches, national anthems and even cross-barricade matches between CY teams.

The Arrangement is really and principally (perhaps exclusively) about lifting the "trnc" isolations on sportspeople and teams in the Occupied Areas so that they can compete against sides in Europe and to let teams from abroad visit and play against the CY teams up there, under the umbrella of the CFA... (providing of course they have used legal points of entry to the Republic, in the way that Turkish teams have done.)

I believe that these European matches will be played in the government controlled areas. The TC teams will have to cross the green line to play against a visiting team from say Italy, for example.

Oh.

Perhaps a consequence of many of the grounds in the Occupied Areas being owned by clubs in the Free Areas...???

The flag is fine because it is neutral and does not belong to Turkey or Greece, just as the national anthem should be, dont you agree repulse?

...what's that song, the little green leaf in the sea?

the flag is Cypriot, it is not neutral as you say, but i will agree it does not represent "Greeks" or "Turks".

Prey tell how it is not neutral?

dude, Cypriots are a People, as i said, it does not represent "Greeks" or "Turks", it represents Cypriots whether they are Greek or Turk. wouldn't you agree, therefore, if there was a change in Cyprus when it comes to soccer, that merit should count, that the equality on the field is demonstrated by being the best of Cyprus; is there not the possibility of friendly competition internally, if there was a Greek Constituency (in soccer, i.e.) an equal in administration to a Turkish Constituency?

why is Cyprus denied by you, (because as you say, at present it is "Greek"), isn't it as a Cypriot worth fighting for (what is neutral about that)?

how is it that you cannot say, i love Cyprus, since its "neutrality" seems to be important to you?

What if there are no TC players in the GC teams or the national team but the better GC players start making up the numbers in the TC teams?

Then so be it...but more importantly what will you think about there not being any TC players in GC or national team.

I would think that the TC community could not produce football players that are good enough.

If I was the manager of the team though, I would want to produce the strongest one possible so that can involve 11 TC's some TC's or no TC's.

If there are none on the team, then so be it.

Why can we not produce players good enough?

So if you could clearly see that a manager was being biased in favor of GC players when the TC player was obviously far better you would stick up for the TC player or just keep quite? or that TC players were being taken to Turkey and doing well yet not 1 TC was picked for the national team, would you stop to think theres something not quite right here?

Vp, you are talking shit as usual. Just look at any of the current teams in Cyrus and you will immediately see that 80%+ of the players are non Cypriot.
You are just shit stirring again and soreading falsehoods in what might or might not happen. Your problem is you DEMAND a %age of tc players in a team no matter what. Its you typical turkish aparthied mentality kicking in. You are so used to these unfair privilages that when you dont immediately get them, every one is discriminating against you. You are one sick sad MF.

I dont know, you asked me;

if it was my team and there was a TC in the squad and if I thought he was better than a GC player, I would express the opinion that I think will help my team win. But I am not a football fanatic and I barely watch games and it is the managers decision at the end of the day.

If the TC teams have strong players and teams they will finish higher up the league. Then some GC teams will probably end up signing TC players to make their teams stronger and they will finish higher up the league too. If the TC teams have crap players, they will finish at the bottom of the league and no one will want to buy or sign up their players.

Do you understand how it works?
