Cypriot Football getting closer to agreeing re-unification

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

But you are forgetting, you have already torn up the agreement and made your song and dance about it. I would be surprised if Turkey allowed this to proceed any further. We shall see, then we'll really know who is the puppet master.

First say goodbye to the TA, settlers and carpetbaggers, then talk about recognition. How the hell can you start to recognise these crooks before they have even moved their shit from Cyprus. MA eisastin telia palavi more??

Agreed, all that sh*t should be removed from Cyprus but if they accept this then it sets a precedent moving forwards. It will be another nail in the coffin of recognition for the pseudo state. This is why the Neanderthals passing themselves off as politicians of the "TRNC" are so against this move.

The TC's will only attract more attention towards their double standards and hypocrisy if they accept this agreement but continue to support the occupation moving forwards.

Sounds like cold feet to me on your behalf that is.

What will you do when we produce a player that warrants entering the national team yet he is overlooked time and time again for far worse GC players? probably nothing.

That is a matter of perception but I can see you screaming blue murder if there are none on the team, regardless.

If I understand correctly, the Cypriot rugby team has a good scrum half from the TC community. Ask Cap, he follows and posts these kinds of things.

If he's good enough, and he's eligible, then it's up to the manager to pick him. He'd be stupid not to. They had similar issues in South Africa with cricket and rugby. They chose players on merit only. Not because they were black and had to be seen to make up the numbers. You can't have ethnic quotas in football teams. You wouldn’t want the Cyprus manager to pick two Turkish Cypriots, because that reflects the population? That would be nonsense.

Finally they have woken up to the reality of who is behind the embargoes in the north. It is people like Eroglu, Denktash and their Turkish masters who have kept the TCs isolated all these years in the hope that the international community would 'recognise' their pirate state. Now that they understand this is never going to happen, then it becomes a matter of basic survival to come to terms with the legitimate authorities on the island.

How about you VP?

What if there are no TC players in the GC teams or the national team but the better GC players start making up the numbers in the TC teams?
