Such a fool.

Where is the racism in allowing Turkish Cypriot teams to play football as part of the legitimate Cyprus FA?

We help you overcome your sporting embargo and you have the cheek to complain about it. In fact, you prefer to be embargoed!

I’m glad you keep asking daft questions because I can keep posting this…

Aside from looking clueless and an illiterate in comprehending what was written on the paper that he had signed which had been negotiated for several weeks, and then it took him further 3 hours to realise what he had signed, doesn't leave much more to say about this clown, does it?

Next time get someone there to negotiate who can speak English btw.

Whats all the fuss about hes signed to say TC teams can play international matches....why are you running the guy into the ground?

Firstly, thats not what he's signed. He's signed for the "CTFA" to be placed under the umbrella of the CFA. Thus making them just one more of the many associations that report to the CFA such as the Cyprus Amateur Football League. I'd pay attention to this one since I don't expect the overall solution of the problem to be too far from this.

Secondly he's signed and then decided he's not happy and wants to negotiate. Has he finished school?

And btw...do our TC friends know that in order to play European Football you first need to qualify from your own country?

For Goodness sake VP... have you not followed the last 3-4 pages of this thread...???

Do you not read any of your newspapers up there...???

The man may well have signed an agreement that had been negotiated for weeks beforehand, but he's now saying that his signature doesn't amount to agreement.

In simple language... the man tore up the agreement within 3 hours of signing it...!!!

Therein lies the problem! The Turkish and TC media which misconstrues everything resulting in misinformed readers!

I scanned through lots early on and found the most ridiculous declarations like:

“FIFA finally recognizes the TRNC football association!”

“50-50 partners in football!”

You wouldn’t believe the kind of trash they were writing about this!

'trnc': "Who wants to be recognized?"

Turkey: "Who wants to join the EU?"

Sour grapes.

Of course we know what he has signed because we followed the steps taken to the signing, his team of people had studied it for weeks so no one can say they didnt know what was being signed. Its just the round of politicians throwing stones trying to score point off one another. The real issue is how the TCs and GCs teams will form a cross border league, where will the matches be played and how will the teams qualify for international matches. Another issue is the election process for the head of the football federation, do we know the details? can a TC be elected? Lets not get over excited the TRNC has not disappeared nor do we have to take part if the leagues are not conducted properly we can take the football federation to court and expose their mistakes. I think this puts the TCs in a very strong position to expose the expected shenanigans by the GCs.
