Cypriot Football getting closer to agreeing re-unification

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

  Hilarious, Lordo. Which ‘small print’ did you morons not see? The key section which states that:

The CTFA will become a member of the CFA as an association, in accordance with the CFA statutes and regulations, with all clubs registered under the CTFA automatically becoming indirect members of the CFA.

Or this bit:

Under the arrangement, the CFA, as a member of FIFA and UEFA, is deemed the governing body responsible for organising, administering and controlling football in Cyprus, as well as the body responsible for any international football activities in Cyprus.

May I suggest a good optician in future!

The good news is that now we all have a good taste of what these “agreements” with Turkey are worth.

If one can renege over a simple football draft imagine the horrors of a complex multi-paged political arrangement!

Let there be no more “agreements” and let everyone realize why UN resolutions are the only solution to the Cyprus problem.

This from the EUFA site from this morning...

"... A number of principles govern the arrangement. The signatories pledge to respect fully the FIFA and UEFA statutes and all international sport principles. Under the arrangement, the CFA, as a member of FIFA and UEFA, is deemed the governing body responsible for organising, administering and controlling football in Cyprus, as well as the body responsible for any international football activities in Cyprus..."

... and here are pickies of the signing of an agreement and the short-lived celebrations, that lasted all of three hours.

Joseph Blatter, Hasan Sertoğlu, Costakis Koutsokoumnis and Michel Platini at the signing...

Turks cannot be trusted, imagine if we were stupid enough to agree to the Ankara Plan. The GCs have been vindicated and I hope that they ram that down the throats if the UN EU UK AND US of F A.

You''ve got to laugh at the turn of events! Everyone celebrates a historic breakthrough only for the TCs to insist they never knew what they were signing up for!

They now seriously hope that FIFA will at some point 'recognise' their 'federation'.

What a bunch of clowns!

... and with the risk of being accused of using devious image techniques, camera trickery and dodgy VideoShopping, here's a video of the signing of the most curious agreement in the history of agreements...

(you lucky, lucky people...!!!)
