That remark was something I expected from you, GR. You know, it was not all that long ago that Cyprus' national football team was regarded as a joke (0-12 was your worst performance, I think) . But over the last few years Cyprus has become a better playing team. TC participation in the CFA would have eventually made them good competitors, though the political crap has now made it impossible. Have a good chuckle, GR, but as I have always said: the big loser here is the sport...

I’m well aware of that utu, that’s why somewhere in this thread I warned them about the agony of watching your country get thrashed over and over…I’m still trying to forget some of those embarrassing defeats.

I never believed for one moment that Turkey would allow TCs to amalgamate in any way or form quite simply because their official stance is and always was partition.

As for the current competence of TC players, they would’ve been lucky to have made 3rd division to be quite frank with you.

It is not Turkeys decision but ours.......

 bless....zan still thinks tc's run the occupied territory.

Only as much as you think you are not part of Greece!!!!

  would rather be a part of Morocco right now.

What YOU want and what is real are two different things....

I added to my post above!!!!!![/list]

What is real is that this is an independent state with full representation in all international bodies....deal with it.

Zan, the Greek Cypriots do fly the Greek flag a lot, but this is allowed under the Cyprus Constitution - and the right for Turkish Cypriots to fly the Turkish Flag is also enshrined in that document. True, the National Anthem of Cyprus really needs to be changed (as I do believe that their using the Greek Anthem is making a mockery of both Cyprus' claims to independence and the philosophy of independence), but given that expatriate Turk and Greek communities in other countries do display their flags and show nationalist pride, why should it be any different in Cyprus? You have said in other threads that the Turkish Cypriots have a right to precerve their identity (which I don't dispute), but surely the Greek Cypriots have a right to show theirs...

I agree we dont have players like Okkas and Konstaninou but we have some good players that can help at intrnational level.. Omer Riza and Leon Osman is some of them..Also Mustafa Izzet was leader in assists in Premier Leauge so dont worry about the talent of the players...They will even help Cyprus to get better at International level. Osman will make the assist for Okkas. ( i beileve in that)

It would have been great if they were included in the national team from now. I strongly believe that had talat and turkey allowed this to happen it would have made life much easier on the solution talks as well. And don't believe everything you read about the agreement changing in the GC favour at the last minute. FIFA wouldn't be so angry at the TC"s right now if thats what happened.
