Just for a laugh I imagined the TC football association being asked which division they’d want their teams to enter and them asking to join the 1st division!

Four or five 10-0 thrashings later they’d request to join the 2nd division.

Four or five 5-0 thrashings later they’d request to join the 3rd division.

Four or five 2-0 thrashings later they’d request to go back to their own league!

Very funny. Not!!

If they end up joining the RoC league it's a matter of time before someone has to evaluate and decide who joins where so there is some weight in this joke...

All TC's will be playing under the ROC flag. If a tc team qualifies to play in europe the stadium will need to fly the Cyprus flag. Thats what is meant when the deal is the tc's are the ones joining the CFA.

As for the anthem...its a long overdue time for a new one anyway.

According to Politis, the TC football administrators have nearly agreed on everything with the CFA and UEFA.

The terms that the unified football will be conducted in are as follows.

The TC football league will be conducted under the auspices of the CFA and we will not have TC teams playing against GC teams.

The National team will stay as it is and the Coach is entitled to call in TC players into the squad as he sees fit. It is compulsory for a TC player that got called up to join the squad.

Last night at Akis TV program Talat said under this conditions TC's football federation will not be member of the KOP.
