There has been an increase in the UK over the past three years despite the law changes.
Women have also grown in numbers, especially in the clay arena. In the game sector women are encouraged to take part with special game days at well known estates throughout the country. The fashion side has also added to the sport with 'Really Wild' dominating the sport.
Hunting and shooting in the UK is doing well at the moment, gun sales are up and licences applied for up, anti's are now making little or no impact on the sport and are genrally feeling somewhat ignored.
As for Cyprus the sport does very well and again women are taking part more and more (albeit in the clay arena). Cypriots seem to be upgrading their guns and are now looking at better hunting and clay clothing, maybe the days of green camo in Cyprus is coming to an end.
