Colombia slams Rights court over Israeli's extradition

Colombia said the European Court of Human Rights "shames humanity" for urging Russia not to extradite an Israeli terror suspect to the South American country over torture concerns.

"The court's decision is a black mark for human rights in the world; it backs impunity for the crimes Mr Klein and his paramilitary students carried out in Colombia and denies truth and justice to their victims," Vice President Francisco Santos said.

Gal Yair Klein was found guilty by a Colombian tribunal in 2001 of giving military and terrorist training. He was sentenced to 10 years and eight months in prison and a fine.

Klein was arrested at Moscow's Domodedovo airport in August 2007 on an arrest warrant issued by Colombia through the Interpol police agency, and remains in detention in Russia.

Hold Me Back!

"Hold me back!" is a part of Israeli folklore. It reminds us of our childhood.

Unofficial word has reached my ears that the Palestinians are preparing to declare the state of Palestine as per 1967 borders! This may well be the most strategic move ever made by them and should have severe repercussions for Israel as I expect many countries to recognize the (UN supported) state.

GR, Yasser Pond Scum Arafat declared a Palestinian state in 1988. If one is again declared this year, it will doubtless have equal impact. Perhaps even less; in 1988, Gaza and the West Bank were allied and in comparison to today, relatively prosperous.

You can declare yourself the heir-apparent to the fortune of the Windsors via bullhorn, and until the cows come home, but it doesn't make it so.

Censorship and Israel’s ‘Free Press’

Does censorship in Israel resemble that in Iran? It is the provocative title of an article in the major Israeli newspaper Haaretz today, and the implied answer, given that members of the Israeli parliament are calling for the paper to be shuttered for revealing “classified” documents that showed the Israeli military defied court orders regarding the rules of engagement, is a decisive “yes.”

Haaretz Threatened for Exposing Israeli Assassination Cover-Up

Reports have emerged over the past few weeks that Israeli reporter Anat Kam has been held under secret house arrest in the nation since December of last year, but the reports have been confined to the Western media as, despite the story appearing in papers the world over, the Israeli government had forbidden domestic media from reporting on the matter until today.

Kam is facing charges of “treason” for leaking copies of classified military documents to Uri Blau, a reporter for Haaretz who has often been critical of the Israeli military.

Anat Kam: I stole IDF documents to expose West Bank war crimes

Classified documents reveal that the Israel Defense Forces had committed war crimes in the West Bank, Anat Kam, the former soldier indicted for espionage over an alleged theft of top secret material, told the court earlier in the year, according to police documents released allowed for publication Monday at the request of Haaretz.

In the newly released material documenting court hearings surrounding Kam's arrest, the journalist and former IDF soldier said that the motivation behind her removal of sensitive military material was to expose "certain aspects of the IDF's conduct in the West Bank that I thought were of interest to the public."

I admit to having read only up to about page 20, however I wanted to express my feelings on this matter.
(I Take advantage now ‘cause surely Get real - known as the master - is engaged to silence other women )

I have three moral paradoxes, two political questions of faith and doubt about the Israeli bombing in Gaza.

Paradoxes:
1. If the killing of a child by our enemies is a crime, in retaliation for the killing of a thousand children enemies is justice?

2. For whoever is armed to the teeth may invoke self-defense, and who is completely helpless can not even protest in words, otherwise it is a terrorist?

3. It 's more serious burn a flag with a lighter during a demonstration or a person with the phosphorus during an act of war?

Requests:

4. If the Israeli government can say, while spreading death and destruction among civilians in Gaza, he had nothing with the Palestinians, but only against Hamas, why when they admit to stay on the side of the Palestinians are accused of being in favor Hamas and Israel's enemies?

5. The unilateral ceasefire called by Israel, has something to do with the establishment of Barak Obama?

Doubt:
6. Because it always serves the God of winners and losers of God condemns, though the exact same God?
