The resolution backed the findings of a UN-appointed expert panel chaired by South African Judge Richard Goldstone, which concluded that both sides committed war crimes and possible crimes against humanity during the war that began in December 2008 and ended in January 2009.
The parliamentary move, which would give the EU an unprecedented role in evaluating the progress of Israel's war crimes probe, was sharply criticized by Israel.http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1155507.html
The Turkish propaganda machine should pay you for all the services rendered to them.
They can quote you as one of the main reasons as to why they want guarantor powers over Cyprus , they could also quote you when pressing the Americans to recognize the "trnc" , you are such a valuable asset to mainland Turkey !!!
What about the recent ECHR decision? Is that because of my stance or that of your beloved US who little by little has destroyed the very fabric of civilized society and turned the world into a lawless arena of gun hoes where Human Rights have become meaningless?
The US has no influence over the ECHR , I thought you knew that .
Your continued attacks on the USA are doing Cyprus fuck all , perhaps Bin Laden and Hamas might rejoice at reading your vitriol against the USA but thousands of Cypriot Americans would not be at all happy that while they are engaged in the promotion of the interests of Cyprus you are engaged in antagonizing those who can be instrumental in forcing the occupation troops out of Cyprus.
As for the ECHR recent announcement , that is a temporary set back and with proper presentation by our legal experts such monstrous decision can be re examined.
Do bear in mind that the ECJ is the highest judicial body and not the ECHR whose many decisions in the past regarding Turkey have faded into insignificance . Also take into account that the ECHR in its announcement also referred to the illegality of the "trnc" and the fact that the RoC is the only sovereign power over the entire island . My own view is that the decision can be challenged for being inconsistent with the recent rulings of the ECJ.
