Gaza's present wretched state is the result of what happens when economy and energy are directed towards the destruction of another country rather than the construction of their own. If they had spent money on developing their infrastructure rather than on arms and devoted themselves to farming and tourism instead of shooting Qassams at Israel, Gaza would look considerably different today.
