ps. Yes mate I know more T/Cs than you and Zan do , put together !!

Most of the entire world hasn't a clue where Cyprus is.
From the minority who know where Cyprus is, most do not know that Cyprus is divided.
From the minority who know that Cyprus is divided, most do not give a f**k.
Of the handful who are left, most believe it to be a problem for the Cypriots to sort out.

Quite a lot of Cypriots live in the TRNC, and are getting more and more used to it. Time is not on the side of a settlement.

I have twice in the 4 years that I have been living here received letters not from individuals but from large organisations addressed to me at "..., Limassol, Cyprus, Greece". This confirms your view that most people in the world know very little about Cyprus.

That me dear Observer is what matters not if most people do not know where Cyprus is !!

In a post above I had put a question for everyone in here:

"When you refer to settlers you must also ask yourself of the response of the Cypriots to the possibility of having a district officer, minister, member of parliament, or even president, born of parents from Turkey or Greece. When all of us here can answer that question honestly and sincerely then let us talk about the settler question and rights etc."

Well folks, can you give an honest answer to the above? How do you view the possibility of settlers being legalised and eventually seeking elected office? How would you deal with the possibility of mainland Greeks and Turks holding positions of power in a post solution Cyprus?

To make my attitude clear- if the above happened in Cyprus I would give up on the island altogether.
