If you are still visiting the site, this is for you.
I have read 'The Lemon Groves of Louvaras', and agree with the anonymous critic who praised it. It is well-written, well-researched and well-constructed. Anyone who enjoyed 'Captain Corelli's Mandolin' will surely enjoy 'The Lemon Groves'.
As for the comments posted by GET REAL and his cohorts, they are just too silly to be taken seriously. These people have obviously not read the book; in fact, I would be surprised if they had read ANY book.
Happy reading.
Please let me know your opinion when you have read it.
novelist,
Yes I do still visit the forum in the HOPE that someone, decent, like yourself may read my thread and comment in a grown up, un-biased manner. I thank you for that and I`m honoured that your first post is in this thread. I await eagerly to receive my copy (hard back) this week from

As for GR and the rest of them, knowing a little about Cyprus history, I can understand why some Cypriots WERE anti-British. I am against any new American Bases or radar stations in the UK and would not be very happy if they went ahead without asking the UK public first and killed any of us who wanted them out! EOKA is a minority group and I will not assume that all Cypriots are anti-British.
