I miss good all times of Cyprus Forum where it was possible to discuss issues, open-mindedly with at least 4 or 5 GCs. I miss Michalis, Alexandros Lordos, St Jimmy... although Bananiot is here he sounds almost inactive :s

You can discuss issues open-minded in here. There are some very good TC and GC debators in here, even some very good mainland Greeks and some other nationalities.

It depends how much you can stand it because there are people from both sides that are very bitter and insulting.

Precisely! ... There is no meaning to political equality between two groups, one of which is represented by 85% of the civilians and the other by a mere, laughable 12%. Wake up, you are a tiny proportion of a multicultural society. Accept, and fit in; otherwise depart for more suitable political climes

Where did you get those numbers from?
a)Last official census GC 78% TCs 18% others 4%.

b)Anan plan voting: The number of "TC" votes where about 33%!!! of the GC votes. Of course "TC" = TC + setlers who voted

Regardless, an 18% population even under normal conditions is not something you can ignore.You need some possitive discrimination to fix things. The situation we are now is far from normal, so the concept of political equality (as described by UN resolutions) under a Federal structure, is the equivalent of THAT possitive discrimination.

I am very sorry to say that unfortunately the majority of TCs, did not appreciate this GC concession, and they think they can go even further from that...

It all has to be backed with Credible Evidence now, thanks to GR!

Not like your day, when you espoused "genetic" racial theories without a shred of evidence ... then disappeared when you didn't like the research results!

It doesn't matter when was it. The matter is USA evolved from confederation to federation. The reason they first began with confederation has nothing to do with the date.
