Of course I know. And it's not just some.

What does that have to do with your question? :?

What I asked you was why you asked erol to explain 'why the south'. Is there a reason?

the reason was to understand if it was a problem for some of the forum members to come north, was this an option or was the south the only choice, does that answer your question?

So Kifeas and Erolz met? Thats interesting.
So kifeas and Erolz, apart from possibly entertaining, was this meeting beneficial in any other way? I am really interested to know. Did you come to the conclusion that if all TCs/GCs were like you there wouldn't been any problems, but because they are not you remain fixed on your initial positions?

I guess the meeting was good if you decided to do it again and expand it :D

I believe that trying to resolve differences by discussion (virtual and face to face) is the ONLY option we have. I feel I know Kifeas better by having met him in person than by not and this has to be a useful and worthwhile benefit of such a meeting. I do not think that we 'solved' anything or changed each others beliefs about the Cyprus problem. I do believe however that no matter how frustrating and how pointless discussions can feel at times, that we simply have to keep trying. I would rather try and fail than not bother at all. If we as indivduals can not make the effort to discuss, meet and understand each other than there is no hope that our leaders will ever reach an agreed settlement. That is why i continue to particpate here and seek to try and extend the discussions here into real world meetings as well.

Is the reason you are asking, because you want to consider joining?

You know erolz, when I was younger I dreamed of a better world. Then I found out the factor called "human nature" and I learned about the dirty politics driven by the interests of tiny elites.

Now I believe its all about power politics and everything else matters very little.

Yes, thank you.

Only now I have another one: since what you wanted to know is whether some of the forum members would have a problem crossing to the north, and since the only forum member who would have to cross to the north (because he resides in the south) is Kifeas, I conclude that what you wanted to know is whether Kifeas would have a problem to come to the north.
Is this line of thinking correct?

If not, please correct me where I have jumped to an unjustified conclusion.

If it is, please explain to me what difference it would make to you if Kifeas had, in fact, refused to cross to the north to meet erol, i.e., why you wanted to know specifically about Kifeas's stance on the issue of crossing to the north.

P.S.: please forgive my persistence on this issue. I am not questioning you just for the sake of it, I am trying to get to a conclusion, but I don't want to rush to it. But don't worry, hopefully a couple of more posts should get us there.
