A helping hand to peace from the sports field.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

BI-COMMUNAL BADMINTON PROJECT IS UNDERWAY TO PROMOTE RELATIONS

Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot Badminton Federations prepare to stage friendship matches under a bi-communal badminton project.

The sports project aims to improve friendly relations between the two Cyprus youths.

The matches have categories for boys and girls aged below 13 and 16.

The Head of the Turkish Cypriot Badminton Federation Huseyin Ozun Yamac said they have determined the best 8 teams to participate in the project and are now waiting for the Greek Cypriot Federation to determine their own best 8.

Following that, the match programme will be set up to determine the Cyprus-wide rating.

In addition to these matches, friendship matches will also be held by another group of Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot sportsmen.
