I got stuck on the highway between Limassol and Nicosia today around 9.30am. A nice truck driver gave me a lift to the nearest village (Kofinou police station), but I left my phone in his car.
I don't remember the truck company name but he mentioned he was transporting acid to Larnaka, but his company was based in Nicosia

Any idea how i can locate this guy?

I'm trying to call the phone, but he doesn't answer

Go to the CYTA offices with your ID and phone agreement contact and tell them your story. They should be able to tell you the exact location of the phone with a few mouse clicks…

They say that in order to locate it I need to go to the police with IMEA number of the device, which I don't have...

Is there a list of all truck companies in Cyprus? Or at least major ones?

Don’t you have the phone agreement contract? I think it’s got all that detail in there…

But anyway, I suspect what must’ve happened is that the phone may have slipped from your waist into the side of the truck’s seat so not even the driver probably knows it’s fallen in there! Keep calling it every hour or two during business hours…

Trucks are used by most industries so how can you have a list of them? If it’s acid he was carrying then you might want to narrow down that search to the Chemicals industry or something… like this one:
