I have just arrived in Nicosia to work from the uk, i was hoping to bury myself in my work as its a lonely place when most people are talking in russian or other languages, now i find its a public holiday so i'm climbing the walls thinking what to do, anyway if there is anyone out there who is in nicosia and speak english and want to meet up as i'd like to make a few friends, i know there are meetings on saturdays somewhere, hope to find out and join you all, i will leave my email and number if anyone wants to get in touch, i aim to make a go of it here and not fly back homesick lol

Go to the local kiosk and buy a SoEasy sim card (unless your company is going to provide you with a phone) unless your phone is locked to a UK network (even then you can get it unlocked for 15-20 Euros).

Then come to Murphys Pub, next to the Europa Hotel (taxis will know where) on Saturday between 12:00 and 14:00.
