One such example concerns a friend of mine, who was on a mini break in Amsterdam with his wife. On their final morning, with only an hour or so to kill before they headed to the airport for their trip home, he enquired of her what she would like to do to fill that final hour. She replied that it would be good to try and find Anne Frank's house, to which he replied "well, if the nazi's couldn't find it in 5 years, what chance do we have of finding it in an hour"!!
I wish I'd have said that!
